Atletico Madrid away football shirt

For any wannabe strikers out there looking to emulate some of the most potent predators currently plying their trade in world football, look no further than this offering from Nike for Atletico Madrid away shirt who boast the deadly strike force of Argentinian wonderkid Sergio Kun Aguero and Uruguayan hitman Diego Forlan. This pair have more than filled the void left at the Vicente Calderon stadium when Fernando Torres departed for Liverpool, with both notching some important goals in both La Liga and the Champions League this term.  As the sleeping giants of Spanish football, they are currently battling to re-establish themselves among the powerhouses of Spanish football. Be under no illusions that the side is packed with quality and it is therefore no surprise that the kit is too.

As with all Nike kits, the shirt maintains a classy look, although the colours mean it is slightly less striking than the home shirt. The shirt is all navy with red trim, red rounded collar and red sponsor.  The shirt also benefits from Nike’s innovative dri-fit technology which helps to ensure that players stay cool during games by venting the athletes body of sweat. Sometimes technology in relation to football kits is hyped up and not much difference is noticed but I am pleased to report that this is definitely not the case with Nike Dri-Fit as it definitely makes playing football more comfortable when your shirt isn’t sticking to your back and the dri-fit technology succeeds in ensuring this.

With Atletico Madrid still challenging for honours in la liga, the champions league and the copa del rey this season, there is every reason to be proud to be wearing this kit out for a game of football. For those looking to add names and numbers to the shirt the lettering is a very unique; silver in colour adding a real touch of class to the shirt.
