08-09 Inter Milan home football shirt

Inter Milan home football shirt

One of the true giants of both Italian and European football, Inter Milan are one of the few teams whose club colours are instantly recognisable. The famous blue and black stripes are synonymous with Inter and more recently also with success after they successfully clinched the Serie A title, lo scudetto, last season, hence the scudetto winners patch on the shirt in between the club badge and the nike swoosh(the league winners patch is the one which bears the colours of the Italian national flag).  This season’s Inter Milan home shirt is very smart indeed. Kit manufacturers Nike have delivered the goods with a shirt that is up-to-date and stylish without losing any of the tradition one would expect from an Inter Milan shirt. The shirt is the usual black and blue stripes, with a short v neck, gold lining and gold sponsor.

Inter’s squad is impressive. Swedish hitman Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the main man for Inter and is truly world class. Winger Mancini is also a key player, having joined in the summer from title rivals, Roma. Italian defensive stalwart Marco Materazzi brings up the rear guard. Now bossed by the special one, Jose Mourinho, Inter Milan have successfully made it through to the group stages where Mourinho will hope to get the best from his team as they face Manchester United. It is expected that the winner of this tie should progress to the final. The nerrazzuri are also maintaining a strong push on the domestic front and should be there or thereabouts in Serie A come the end of the season.

You can get your kit now from UK Soccershop, where names and numbers are also available in the official style lettering. I would also recommend adding the Serie A patch to the shirt to really take it to the next level.
