Olympique Lyon Home Kit

Olympique Lyonnais (popularly known as OL, or simply as Lyon) is a French football club based in Lyon. They play in Ligue 1 and are the reigning champions of France. They have won the Ligue 1 title seven years straight, a record that no other club in France has matched. Lyon are looking for their 8th straight League Title in what is proving to be on of the most hotly contested season in recent French League 1 history. Lyon have won seven Trophées des Champions, four Coupe de France, three Ligue 2 Championships as well as seven participations in the UEFA Champions League, despite not taking part in a final, or a semi-final. Having advanced past the group stages of this year’s UEFA Champions League Lyon will be looking to change the situation by reaching the final in Rome.

The Olmpique Lyonnais home kit offered by Umbro is an modern and exciting jersey. The shirt sticks to tradition by using a white base color – the color Lyon have used for almost their entire history. The shirt, however, is far from plain. Flair is added to the kit by running from the left shoulder down to the bottom of the shirt a red and blue stripe. This is a perfect balance of the illustrious tradition of the club and the flair added to the squad with star players like Karim Benzema, Juninho, Fabio Grosso, and many others.

Official French Ligue 1 printing is also availaible from UKSoccerShop.com – so don’t miss out on the chance to wear your favourite player’s name or to customize the shirt to whatever you like. Whatever your taste – make sure you’re fully equipped with this top the next time you are part of the 41, 044 strong Les Gones supporters who fill the Stade Gerland on match day.
